HSMAI Honors Jet Linx SOAR Magazine with Gold Adrian Award
HSMAI HONORS JET LINX SOAR MAGAZINE WITH GOLD ADRIAN AWARD FOR TRAVEL MARKETING EXCELLENCE
The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) honored Jet Linx with a Gold Adrian Award for advertising excellence for SOAR Magazine in the 61st annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious global travel marketing competition. Out of more than 1,100 entries, SOAR was among those judged to be exceptional by expert hospitality, travel, tourism and media professionals.
SOAR Magazine is a lifestyle publication that not only showcases the company’s development and milestones, but also highlights community involvement and outreach, Jet Linx team members, articles about travel, culture and leisure, the company’s strategic partners, and general private aviation industry information.

SOAR Magazine is published quarterly, and reaches all of the company’s clients and team members. The magazine is produced entirely in house by the Jet Linx marketing department (a team of three), responsible for sourcing story angles, writing content, gathering images or staging photoshoots, and all layout and design. “This publication is truly a labor of love,” noted Jordan Maddex-Kopp, Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for Jet Linx. “There is nothing more rewarding for my team and me than seeing the latest issue move from proof to press. We are thrilled to have this vehicle to share stories on our partners, our people, and our culture.”
Jet Linx was honored during the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala on February 20, 2018 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel, and tourism marketing executives, the Adrian Awards Gala celebrates award-winning work, lifetime achievement, and the HSMAI Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Optimization. “The theme of this year’s Adrian Awards was ‘Be a Travel Marketing Super Hero.’ It’s fitting because the winners have all taken bold and dynamic approaches that inspire and advance the hospitality industry as a whole,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO of HSMAI.
The Adrian Award capped a record-breaking awards season for SOAR, during which it received honors from the Hermes Creative Awards (Platinum Award, Publications), the Marcom Awards (Gold Award, Consumer Magazine) and the Apex Awards (Grand Award, Magazines, Journals and Tabloids, awarded to only 7% of entrants competition-wide).
