In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Jordan Maddex-Kopp, Jet Linx Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships.

Favorite part of your job: Seeing the pride our team across the country takes in our brand and our brand promise. Being Your Personal Jet Company is something we all take – well, quite personally!

Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Genuine. Our company core values are something the Jet Linx team truly lives daily – folks in our organization are genuine in their attention to and passion for their work and in their desire to best serve our clients and fellow team members.

Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: Watching our company magazine, SOAR, grow from its infancy to a best-in-class, award-winning publication. Our company has so many incredible stories to tell, and SOAR is a spectacular showcase for those stories.

Favorite thing about Omaha: The team I get to work with daily at the Jet Linx National Operations Center AND our Base locations. We are never at a loss for subject matter experts when it comes to writing the next blog or feature story!

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: I’m a passionate supporter of The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and have had my head shaved three times in support of kids facing cancer and to raise needed funds for kids cancer research.

What might someone find surprising about your job: Every day is an exercise in problem-solving and creative thinking, in nearly equal parts. Marketing is so much more than “making it pretty” – it’s the chance to find effective ways to package information so it can strike an emotional chord or make a logical argument in a memorable fashion.
