Six Senses Kocataş Mansions
The Six Senses Kocatas Mansion Istanbul is a playful dance between old and new, East and West. The two restored Ottoman-era mansions offer waterfront views in the well-heeled Sariyer district of Istanbul, while interior furnishings such as svelte armchairs, leather trunks, writing desks and gilt-framed artwork harken back to the golden age of travel. These eggshell-pastel waterfront mansions allow guests to sip Turkish coffee on a terrace before sunning in a garden or cruising down the iconic Bosphorus river.
The hotel offers 45 guestrooms and suites spread across the two three-story mansions. Facilities include a restaurant called the Toro Latin GastroBar, the all-day Kahve café overlooking the Bosphorus, a fully-equipped gym, and banqueting rooms. A nice touch of added luxury is the private boat, moored on the property, available to take guests on sightseeing trips through the banks of the Bosphorus. A wellness center (set to open in 2021) will incorporate five treatment rooms and a private suite, hammams, Six Senses Holistic Anti-Aging Center, fitness, a heated swimming pool and wet room facilities.
