Prior to Jet Linx, Brent spent 11 years with Carreker Corporation, a management consulting and technology company specializing in bank operations and services. Brent served as managing principal for community banks nationwide, 10 billion in assets and below. The company went public in 1998 and was sold in the first quarter of 2007.

From 1992-1996, Brent was national sales manager at SOS Technologies, an emergency medical training company.

After graduation from Trinity Christian Academy, Brent received a full football scholarship from Kilgore College in East Texas and played there his Freshmen year. He then transferred to Baylor University, where he became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Brent graduated from Baylor in 1992, with a double-major in marketing and management.

Brent resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons.
