In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Quinn Scahill, Jet Linx Content Creator Specialist & Copywriter.
Favorite part of your job: I get to speak with a lot of interesting, accomplished people that I normally would not have access to. I also have the opportunity to write about really interesting topics for our in-house quarterly publication, SOAR Magazine.
Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Dedicated.
Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience:Â I had the opportunity to interview former Hurricane Hunters (including Shannon Burns!) for a story in SOAR, and it was fascinating.
Favorite thing about Omaha: Omaha has a great local music scene, and lots of good food.
Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: My family is tiny. So tiny that I do not have a single cousin on either side. Sometimes this is a blessing, and sometimes it’s a curse!
What might someone find surprising about your job: I actually know very little about aviation and private jets, but I have learned a lot from the Jet Linx team.
