In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Peter Bokelman, Jet Linx Charter Support Specialist.

Favorite part of your job: Getting to work with jet aircraft, but also making the small details happen on client trips – like when a client’s grilled cheese showed up without the garnishes. We immediately made sure that issue was corrected, and they enjoyed the catering as ordered!

Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: DICES. This acronym is the easiest way for me to remember our five core values – dedication, integrity, compassion, enthusiasm and selflessness. The Jet Linx team does a great job personifying these morals every day.

Favorite thing about Omaha: Omaha has a pretty good Indie music scene. We get bands touring from all over the U.S., and with several great venues in towns, it’s easy to find a show that would pertain to almost anyone’s taste in music.

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: I really enjoy repurposing old picture frames to display other art pieces I’ve collected.

What might someone find surprising about your job: Even though it’s in Nebraska, our National Operations Center is not located in middle of corn field!
