In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, Jordan Kieltyka, Jet Linx Charter Support Specialist.

Favorite part of your job: Interacting with each team (Flight Control, Flight Planning, Crewing, International, and Flight Operations) on a daily basis to guarantee every trip goes smoothly and that all details are double-checked. The teams at the National Operations Center have so much going on each day and it’s very comforting to know each team member is willing to help others teams, including Charter.

Describe the Jet Linx experience/team in one word: Respect.

Favorite thing about Omaha: Block 16 – a restaurant in downtown Omaha.

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: I have a twin brother that lives in New York.

What might someone find surprising about your job? In addition to coordinating the logistics behind each trip, we also strive to provide somewhat of a personal touch to each one. Whether that be to ensure clients get a certain type of transportation upon arrival, or reaching out to the crew to make sure they are comfortable and aware of certain aspects pertaining to each trip.
