In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Jes Wingad, Jet Linx Director of Training.

Favorite part of your job: The team I work with – at the NOC and our Bases – constantly strive to improve themselves, and get all necessary training materials that we provide to our crew members completed efficiently.

Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Determined.

Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: Attending our 100 Aircraft Celebration. It was a huge milestone for our team members and the Jet Linx fleet.

Favorite thing about Omaha: Omaha has a tremendous offering of stuff to keep you busy, but the River City Rodeo and Stock Show is a personal favorite!

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: With winter months confining me indoors, I have taken up the hobby of leather-working – creating Old West style accessories.

What might someone find surprising about your job: The training procedures for our private jet operations can change quickly at times, and our team’s close relationship with our industry partner – Flight Safety – provides us with the resources to find a quick solution to any challenging request that comes our way.
