Tour Fort Worth with Jet Linx Private Jet Company

If you’re planning a day in Fort Worth, fifth-generation Fort Worthian Crawford Gupton will fill your calendar. Gupton is Jet Linx Fort Worth’s Lead Client Services Specialist, helping bring Jet Linx’s high touch service, jet cards and private jet management to Cowtown. “While our city’s website has designed many fantastic itineraries, I’ve listed one of my favorite days below.” Plan to spend a sunny day seeing the sights and eating some of Fort Worth’s best cuisine.
Early Breakfast (7:30 am) Montgomery Street Café: First, plan to bring a blanket with you and leave it in the car – you’ll see later. You should definitely order the biscuits and gravy. You’ll be set for the better part of morning and lunch hours.
Walk to Amon Carter Museum (1 mile): Houses Carter’s personal collection of paintings and sculptures by Fredric Remington and Charles M. Russell, and exhibits the finest examples of American art. Photo, left, courtesy Amon Carter Museum.

Walk to Modern Art Museum (less than 1 mile): Voted “One of the World’s Most Beautiful Museums” by Travel + Leisure magazine, the Modern Art Museum features works by Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and Cindy Sherman. Photo, right, courtesy The Modern. Photo by David Wharton.
Uber or walk back to your car at Montgomery Café.

Drive to Fort Worth Botanic Garden (don’t forget your blanket!): The oldest botanic garden in Texas, 109 acres and 23 specialty gardens that are home to more than 2,500 species of native and exotic plants. Find a spot to put your blanket down and enjoy the mild Texas weather (fingers crossed!). Photo, left, courtesy Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Photo by Pete Vollenweider.
Late lunch at Joe T Garcia’s in Historic Stockyards: This 75-year-old Fort Worth institution boasts one of the most spectacular outdoor patios in America, and a menu Gupton can recite from memory. “The menu is comprised of two items, fajitas and enchiladas,” Gupton said. Don’t worry – they carry libations as well. “Make sure to get a margarita,” he added.
Walk off lunch shopping in the Historic Stockyards: But be sure to stay on the sidewalk! Every day at 11:30 am and 4 pm, Texas Longhorns are driven by genuine Texas cowhands – right down Exchange Street in heart of the Stockyards. Enjoy the Fort Worth Herd in the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive.

Happy Hour at White Elephant Saloon (Stockyards)
Dinner: Saint Emilion Restaurant: According to Zagat, one of America’s top 20 restaurants. According to Gupton, a romantic spot that serves exquisite South of France fare with an extensive wine list. “We might be where the West begins, but Fort Worth can wine & dine the best of them,” Gupton said.
