Late lunch at Joe T Garcia’s in Historic Stockyards: This 75-year-old Fort Worth institution boasts one of the most spectacular outdoor patios in America, and a menu Gupton can recite from memory. “The menu is comprised of two items, fajitas and enchiladas,” Gupton said. Don’t worry – they carry libations as well. “Make sure to get a margarita,” he added.

Walk off lunch shopping in the Historic Stockyards: But be sure to stay on the sidewalk! Every day at 11:30 am and 4 pm, Texas Longhorns are driven by genuine Texas cowhands – right down Exchange Street in heart of the Stockyards. Enjoy the Fort Worth Herd in the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive.
