Favorite part of your job: Every day is like a live-action puzzle. Fitting all the pieces together, like the right pilot for the right aircraft, and watching it all come together – from the first phone call to the signed job offer – is always a thrill. Knowing that I have made a difference in not only the Company’s goals but also for that team member’s career is such a great feeling!

Describe the Jet Linx team or experience in one word: Supportive.

Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: The Company holiday party was an absolute blast. It was great to be able to spend time with everyone outside of work and to introduce my husband to my co-workers. He was able to see what a fun group of people I get to work with every day!

Favorite thing about Omaha: La Buvette in the Old Market.

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: My first experience in an airplane was my grandpa’s 1978 Piper Archer II when I was five years old. He would routinely pick us up at the Millard Airport and fly us to his little airstrip across the highway from my grandparent’s house in Quinter, Kansas. I remember being so amazed that a six-hour car trip could turn into a two-hour plane ride and that my ten-year-old brother got to help him fly!

What someone might find surprising about your job: The amazing stories that our pilots have to tell. I’ve learned so much about this industry just by having conversations with people who have applied at Jet Linx. They are always so excited and passionate when talking about their career and life experiences, and it’s always fascinating to hear about their experiences.
