In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Yvette Green, Jet Linx Vice President of Human Resources.

Favorite part of your job: Working with people who have different levels of experience and backgrounds, and such a passion for Jet Linx and the aviation industry as well.

Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Committed – to one another and to the company. I came to Jet Linx from a non-profit health care business that I thought would be the pinnacle for “caring.”  Not true! The Jet Linx team cares about other team members just as much as they do the business.

Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: Seeing high school students interested in aviation be given opportunities to intern at Jet Linx. The company is truly committed to the aviation industry and helping the next generation pursue their dreams of working in it.

Favorite thing about Omaha: The size – it’s big enough to have most of the perks of big city living, but small enough to get anywhere in the city within thirty minutes. Plus, we get all four seasons, sometimes all in the span of a couple days!

Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: I love to go to live sporting events.  This year, I became interested in Super Cross racing and went to an event in Dallas. One dream is to go the a Super Bowl.
