DC Times Three

This September, Jet Linx DC and ProJet Aviation, a DC-based FBO and charter company, formed a strategic alliance that expanded the Jet Linx DC fleet and team. Our DC Base assumed the ProJet managed fleet as  well as 15 experienced private aviation team members, including pilots, leadership experts and client service and maintenance professionals.

“The addition of ProJet’s fleet to our already growing fleet of aircraft in the DC metropolitan area reinforces our commitment to provide the best, and most convenient, local service to our clients,” said Jamie Walker, President & CEO of Jet Linx. “Strategically, Leesburg is the closest General Aviation airport to Dulles and Virginia’s horse and wine country, making ProJet an ideal partner for us and for our Jet Card clients and aircraft owners in the area.”

With the assumption of the ProJet fleet, Jet Linx DC has expanded its service operations to include three area airports including the Jet Linx private terminal at Dulles International Airport (IAD), Manassas Regional Airport (HEF), and Leesburg Executive Airport (JYO) where ProJet is headquartered.

“Our three locations provide the most comprehensive geographic coverage of the Washington, DC market of any aircraft management and charter company in the region,” noted Greg Kinsella, Base President for Jet Linx DC. “The Washington, DC market is very geographically diverse and challenged whereby the travel time between our clients homes, offices and the aircraft is notable. Offering aircraft and facilities at three different area airports provides our clients with the most options to minimize the impact of this geographic challenge.”
