The Tutu Project – Donations Make a Difference

The Tutu Project raises funds for breast cancer patients not covered by insurance. To get a closer look at what that can mean to someone facing this diagnosis, read on for information from The Tutu Project and The Carey Foundation:

• $10 can provide 1 hour of childcare during therapy
• $20 can provide transportation to and from treatment
• $50 can provide for a quality compression garment
• $100 can provide a wig with a fitting
• $500 can provide two mastectomy bras with prosthesis
• $500 can provide 12 weeks of counseling
• $1000 can provide up to five patients up to one month of pain medication
