Lance Welch spent 25 years in the mortgage industry prior to joining Jet Linx Houston as Base Partner. He was the founding partner of a company that he built to 500 employees that spanned through 38 states. The company funded mortgage loans and issued mortgage back securities on the street until the company sold all of the assets to GMAC in 2005.

Welch (pictured, near right, with Parker Johnson, Base Partner, far right) has served on various boards in the financial and manufacturing industries as well as non-profit boards in the community. He graduated with a BBA in Finance & Real Estate from Texas Tech University in 1987 and left West Texas to pursue his career.

He is involved in numerous organizations including the Tejas Vaqueros, Rancheros Visitadores, El Viaje de Portola and the Clubs of Cordillera Ranch. Lance is also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, San Antonio Rodeo, National Cutting Horse Association and American Cutting Horse Association, among others.

Outside of his work with Jet Linx, Parker Johnson is Sr. Vice President, Corporate Operations for Silver Eagle Distributors, headquartered in Houston, Texas – the nation’s largest distributor of Anheuser-Busch products, and one of the largest Grupo Modelo distributors in the nation. The company also distributes a broad selection of import brands, microbrews, craft beers, several non-alcohol beverages and waters. Silver Eagle employs 1,300 employees and serves close to 13,000 accounts through six facilities which span over 16 counties across southeast, south central, and west Texas.

Welch and Johnson continue to drive development and growth at Jet Linx Houston. “We’re excited to be a part of the Houston community,” Welch said.
