My Home Base – Tom Northington, Jet Linx San Antonio
In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Tom Northington, Jet Linx San Antonio Base Partner & President.
Jet Linx San Antonio Base Partner Tom Northington is a life-long Texan, and born in Austin, Texas in 1971. He has called San Antonio home since 1978, and brought our San Antonio Base to life in 2011.
Northington boasts a strong business background. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 and went into ranch real estate with an independent company, and later with Cordillera Ranch until 2002. Northington later co-founded a manufacturing company that built faux fireplace mantels for the “do-it-yourself” individual and sold them via Internet. He sold that company in 2006 and started a landscape company managing several crews until end of 2012 – and has since been involved in the day-to-day operations of Jet Linx San Antonio.

The San Antonio Base has grown tremendously since 2011, and Northington feels incredibly proud of his team and clients. “When I started at Jet Linx, we had two Customer Service members and myself. We now have four Client Service team members, two maintenance technicians, and three-person sales team,” he noted. “As we add more aircraft and local Jet Card members, we add more quality people to meet high expectations.”
The team is not all that has evolved at Jet Linx San Antonio. The Base enjoyed a recent refresh as well, undergoing an extensive interior remodel. “The facelift at our office was much needed,” he commented. “From the conference room to the additional offices, we have enjoyed the extra space and feel that it provides our clients with an even better Jet Linx experience.”
