Jet Linx Soars Past 50 Million Private Jet Miles Flown

Jet Linx is thrilled to announce that this month we have soared past a milestone in our aviation industry: 50,000,000 miles flown!

“We want to thank our clients and team members for their continued loyalty and support, which has been imperative to our success over the last 17 years,” said Jamie Walker, Jet Linx Aviation President & CEO. “Jet Linx has experienced amazing growth in the industry and we couldn’t have done it without the support we have from our Jet Linx family.”

Jet Linx was founded in Omaha, NE in 1999 with two aircraft and a dream to deliver a better local customer service experience than the competing national companies offered, one marked by personal service for every detail. “The growth of the company since we first started out has been purposeful and planned. We are thrilled to reach 50 million miles of service and safety,” said Jamie Walker.

Brent Carreker, Jet Linx Dallas Base Partner & President, recalled a favorite Jet Linx memory while celebrating the mile mark. “One of my favorite memories was getting the first Excel under management seven years ago. It’s a really quality jet,” he reminisced. “What makes it even more special – the plane is still with us today.” Client loyalty is a huge part of what helped Jet Linx grow from a one-office, hometown startup, to a respected private aviation operation (the 5th largest Pt. 135 operator in the country!) with 14 locations nationwide and top safety certifications.

Other longtime members of the Jet Linx team spoke about the milestone. “The vision for growth and the prediction of needs to support it have been dead-on,” said Michael Kopp, Jet Linx Aviation Director of Operations. “The planning and support of the infrastructure have been key to success.” Kopp joined the company in 2001, and served in a variety of roles before being named Director of Operations.

Jodi Mouw, with Jet Linx for over 16 years, recalled the early days at the company and how different it is today. “I am lucky enough to say I have seen it all, from our humble beginnings with two aircraft, four pilots and me operating out of a one room office, to the nationwide, award-winning, respected company that we have become,” she said. Mouw, now a billing specialist, looks forward to the company’s future, saying, “With all that we have accomplished this far and the base that we have built for our steady, methodical growth, really the sky is the limit!”

Kopp spoke of the Jet Linx team’s passion for the aviation industry and for providing the best in service to clients and one another. “We have people with values who care about their jobs, fellow team members and our clients which creates an atmosphere of unparalleled teamwork and makes all if our daily tasks more manageable.” Mouw agreed, admiring her coworkers’ dedication – one of five Supply the High core values that guide Jet Linx’s operating principles daily. “When you are working alongside people as dedicated as you are and you have a deep respect for them and the part they play, then all the moving parts work seamlessly together,” she explained. “What is better than to go to work every day in an exciting industry with a growing company and people you admire all working for the same common goal?”
