Jet Linx Private Jets Attends Avinode Academy

Avinode Academy was billed as the “most important networking event in business aviation in 2015” — and the Jet Linx private jet team took the stage!

Avinode‘s online marketplace connects charter buyers and sellers to streamline sourcing for charter jet trips, and their yearly Academy is a smaller gathering for the charter aviation community. “It’s a more intimate setting with a core group of businesses we buy lift from and who buy lift from us,” said Erin Donnelly, Director Fleet Management. Donnelly participated in a five-person panel of charter brokers, operators and marketers during the conference. “This year is forecast to be the busiest year in private aviation since the recession of the late 2000s, and we talked about that and how the business has changed,” Donnelly continued. The Academy included team building and a community forum, as well as showcasing the latest technological advancements used by Avinode and its partners to streamline the charter jet process.

Jamie Walker, President & CEO; Jason Vanis, VP Flight Operations; and Matt Dalton, Director of Charter Sales joined Erin at the conference. Jet Linx also hosted a dinner for all conference attendees, allowing Jet Linx to strengthen connections with other charter brokers and operators. Around 125 attendees represented 40 companies at this year’s Academy.
