Jet Linx Houston Sponsors Rainy Day Pennies Casino Night

On March 18, Jet Linx Houston sponsored the Rainy Day Pennies Casino Night held in Pasadena, California. The organization is dedicated to supporting the need of underprivileged children and was founded by Farrell and Shane Foley – clients of Jet Linx Houston. Along with their children Connor and Quinn, who are on the Junior Board, they are dedicated to helping children in need. The Jet Linx Houston team was not able to attend the event, but we were able to touch base with Farrell Foley who gave us a full run down of the evening and her organization.

“The event was held outside under twinkle lights. We played vintage casino music and had several gourmet food sponsors, including a Starbucks coffee bar, Deep Eddy Vodka bar, and New Moon and True food,” said Foley. “There were a variety of casino tables, as well as live and silent auctions. We ended up raising over $16,000.”

Jet Linx Houston sponsored one of the tables and was represented on signage throughout the event. “Jet Linx is a fairly unknown brand in Southern California, so I answered quite a few questions about what Jet Linx is and what areas they serve,” explained Foley.

“100% of the donations we receive go towards a child we can make an impact on. Last year, our kids hosted a backyard carnival, and we raised enough money to sponsor 28 homeless children – from everything to shoes and jeans to shampoo and toothbrushes. With a few pennies for a rainy day, we are able to make a change in lives of children that need our help.”
