Last month, the Jet Linx Atlanta team had the opportunity to take part in Atlanta Charity Clays for the third year in a row. The event is dedicated to raises funds for Atlanta area charities, such as CURE Childhood Cancer, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, Jumpstart Atlanta, and Quality Care for Children. The Jet Linx team, including Atlanta Base President Ron Smith, Director of Sales Scott Wilbanks and Client Services Specialists Chandler Hartley and Tia Flanagan were all able to attend the event and enjoy a weekend of supporting a great cause.

The weekend began with the Kick-Off Gala at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead, where Jet Linx Atlanta contributed an Executive Jet Card to the silent auction. The following two days consisted of the clay shooting tournament, which Smith and Wilbanks took part in – alongside some Jet Linx Atlanta clients. The tournament took place at the Burge Plantation – a historic private shooting club located in Newton County, Georgia.

“There were about sixty four-person teams in the tournament. Our team unfortunately finished in the middle of the pack, but we had a lot of fun with our clients,” recalled Smith. “I’m happy to be a part of this community who’s support and generosity benefits children and different youth organizations. It means even more when the entire team gets involved.”

The team was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of another successful event this year and will continue their support our Charity Clays in years to come. You can check out the organization on their website at www.atlantacharityclays.org
