In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Ashley Kelley, Jet Linx Senior Client Services Specialist.
Favorite part of your job: Having the opportunity to travel to our fourteen Base locations – for both follow-up training of our new hires and recurrent training for our current team members!
Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Seamless.
Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: The celebration we had for adding the 100th aircraft to the Jet Linx fleet. Celebrating with the local Omaha team members and getting to know our fellow industry partners was a great experience! Plus, we got to see Smash Mouth in concert.
Favorite thing about Omaha: The food! Omaha has a variety of culinary hot spots, along with a growing number of locally owned restaurants and a strong craft-brewing scene.
Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: I was actually born in Illinois and grew up a Hoosier, but now I call myself a Nebraskan!
What might someone find surprising about your job: As a Client Services Specialist you wear many hats when it comes to our private jet services – meeting and greeting flights, booking car rentals, washing a client’s vehicle, shopping for supplies, marshaling aircraft. The role is ever-changing and really exciting because we help make a client’s experience with Jet Linx personal.
