DC Times Three

This September, Jet Linx DC and ProJet Aviation, a DC-based FBO and charter company, formed a strategic alliance that expanded the Jet Linx DC fleet and team. Our DC Base assumed the ProJet managed fleet as  well as 15 experienced private aviation team members, including pilots, leadership experts and client service and maintenance professionals.

“The addition of ProJet’s fleet to our already growing fleet of aircraft in the DC metropolitan area reinforces our commitment to provide the best, and most convenient, local service to our clients,” said Jamie Walker, President & CEO of Jet Linx. “Strategically, Leesburg is the closest General Aviation airport to Dulles and Virginia’s horse and wine country, making ProJet an ideal partner for us and for our Jet Card clients and aircraft owners in the area.”

With the assumption of the ProJet fleet, Jet Linx DC has expanded its service operations to include three area airports including the Jet Linx private terminal at Dulles International Airport (IAD), Manassas Regional Airport (HEF), and Leesburg Executive Airport (JYO) where ProJet is headquartered.

“Our three locations provide the most comprehensive geographic coverage of the Washington, DC market of any aircraft management and charter company in the region,” noted Greg Kinsella, Base President for Jet Linx DC. “The Washington, DC market is very geographically diverse and challenged whereby the travel time between our clients homes, offices and the aircraft is notable. Offering aircraft and facilities at three different area airports provides our clients with the most options to minimize the impact of this geographic challenge.”

ProJet will continue its FBO services at Leesburg Executive Airport and members of the Jet Linx DC team will operate out of a private terminal facility that is part of the ProJet FBO campus. Kinsella sees tremendous upside in the experience and depth the Jet Linx DC team gains from adding ProJet talent.

“Every person who has joined us from ProJet brings an incredible amount of talent, ability, and experience that will only make Jet Linx DC stronger,” he said. “Our larger local team combined with the capabilities at the Jet Linx National Operations Center yields a very powerful solution for our clients and prospects.” The local fleet in Jet Linx DC includes a Hawker 900XP and a Lear 60 at the Jet Linx private terminal in Dulles (see next page for a closer look!), a Falcon 900 at Manassas Regional Airport, and Challenger 604, Hawker 800XP, and Piaggio Avanti II at Leesburg Executive Airport. “Our local fleet is also backed by the national Jet Linx fleet of an additional 70+ aircraft,” Kinsella said. “There is no other aircraft management and charter solution, either local or national, that provides the benefits of a high quality national operation and delivers it personally at the local level like Jet Linx DC.”

With a team of dedicated client service specialists and local management providing personal attention to our clients from all three locations, Jet Linx DC will continue to bring the highest in customer service to the DC area.

“I believe Jet Linx brings an extremely customer-focused, comprehensive, and competitive private aviation solution to a significant market that was bifurcated between a handful of small local operators with varying levels of capability and the national operators that offer “clinical” capability, in other words, little or no personal touch at service delivery,” Kinsella said. “Our move to assume additional aircraft and talent from ProJet reaffirms our commitment to bring the best in private aviation to Washington, DC.”
