Super Bowl Sunday has evolved into much more than just a football gameday – it’s an unofficial American holiday. The championship game continues to yield sold-out stadiums, home viewing parties, extensive media coverage and elaborate halftime shows. Last February, guests watched from the edge of their seats as the Philadelphia Eagles won the battle against the reigning champs, the New England Patriots.

The 53rd Super Bowl is scheduled to play on February 3, 2019, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, where the 2018 football league champions will be named. Atlanta has hosted two previous Super Bowls, Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. However, this will be the first Super Bowl that will be held in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium since it made its debut in 2017.

Jet Linx makes a special effort to help clients enjoy gameday travel. For those flying to Atlanta for the big game, Director of Client Services Missy Kemp explains how Jet Linx can help you enjoy every moment, from boarding your flight to game time. “We want to make it fun for you. The sole purpose of a trip to see a football game is to enjoy yourself, and you can’t say that about every trip,” she said. Jet Linx Bases will help kick-off your Super Bowl trip with a high energy and exciting atmosphere in the private terminal. “You can even have your tailgate at our terminal before you take off,” said Kemp. “For example, many Jet Linx locations will have Bloody Mary bars on game days, with vodka, Bloody Mary mix and whatever garnish you can think of to put in your drink.”

In addition to drinks before takeoff, Jet Linx can provide special snacks for your in-flight catering. “It’s not uncommon for someone to get a bunch of friends together to go to the game,” Kemp explained. “We want to make sure you have enough food and beverages for the trip.” Your favorite beer, finger sandwiches and snacks can all be waiting for you when you board the aircraft. Other efforts to help you enjoy your trip include special decorations at the hangar, or even on the airplane: “If we know what game you’re going to and what team you’re in favor of, we want to make it a fun event and we can decorate the plane or the facility,” she said.

Regardless of who you are cheering for this Super Bowl, Jet Linx shares your team spirit and wants to make your game day trip a special experience. Contact your local Client Services team to ensure a seamless and spirited trip to the big game this year.
