In aviation, my belief is that you can never be too safe. Hiring a third-party, independent aviation audit company (or three!) to review and recommend safety practices adds an outside, expert perspective that helps uncover potential problem areas that may not be visible to those in the day-to-day business. Although a company may have a shiny brochure, advanced website, and tout that they are as safe as everyone else, I’d advise digging deeper and asking questions that will paint a more accurate picture as to whether they are meeting the minimum standards or investing in maximum safety.
