Ron Silverman

Chief Commercial Officer

Ronald Silverman has worked in the aviation industry since beginning his career in 1986 at Republic Airport in Long Island, NY, working for a regional airline. Ron later held various positions at a small charter company. In 1991, Ron was selected to oversee and manage the flight department and mega yacht of an Ultra High Net Worth Austrian Banker, a position he held through 2002.

In 2003, Executive Jet Management – a NetJets company – brought Ron on to coordinate and manage a customer service team assigned to each of their accounts. As Senior Vice President Owner Services and Aircraft Management Sales, Ron established superior customer service standards and initiated relationships with aircraft management and charter management clients to maximize client satisfaction and account retention. By directing a coordinated team effort of Owner Services, Accounting, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Flight Crew personnel to ensure agile responses and reduce service issues, Ron was able to develop a standard of excellence, delivering world class service.

From April 2020 through October 2020, Ronald Silverman served as Chief Business Officer for XO, and was the company’s Chief Commercial Officer for four months prior to that. Ron’s tenure with XO’s parent company – Vista Global – spans seven years, beginning in 2013 when he was recruited to be the President of VistaJet US. As President, Ron created VistaJet’s presence in the United States, building a high performance US based team and a substantial US client base. Ron brought his leadership skills and keen understanding of clients to XO to help complete the integration of XO into the Vista Global family of companies. In his role as Chief Business Officer, Ron was responsible for revenue generation, strategic planning, aircraft acquisition, vendor relations, and using his coaching and mentoring prowess to assist the sales team.
