Walls bursting with texture. Music put forth from the purest of space. Flavors expertly revealed in a series of courses. The Jet Linx Chicago Founder’s Celebration offered guests a feast for the senses and a first look at Your Personal Jet Company in the Windy City.
The evening came to life at Low Res Studios, located in the heart of the West Loop of Chicago. A space known for its amplified creativity, guests were greeted with the warm glow of vintage light fixtures, tables adorned with simple yet elegant greenery, and the promise of wonderful entertainment to come through a cluster of instruments nestled in the center of the room. The venue allowed guests to capture memories in an on-site photo booth and watch as chef Doug Psaltis from RPM on the Water created bespoke dishes in an open kitchen.
RPM on the Water is set to formally open in summer 2019 with a dramatic four-level restaurant and event space overlooking the Chicago River. Guests at the Jet Linx Chicago Founder’s event received a rare preview of the cuisine to come. The evening’s menu consisted of perfectly plated fare stretching four courses, and included hamachi crudo with sesame, white soy, and chives; butter poached lobster, broccoli puree and creme fraiche; and a sweet conclusion featuring Amalfi lemon cake.
A special event calls for special cocktails, and the Founding celebration offered pours of two custom creations: the Runway Runaway (Ford’s gin, olive oil, honey and lemon juice) and the Auto Pilot (rum, fresh lime, marashino, and grapefruit with a lime wheel).
In addition to a preview of things to come from the Jet Linx Chicago team and members of the Jet Linx National Operations Center, guests enjoyed an intimate performance from Wildeyes, a three member Nashville-based Americana band.
