Denny Walker, Founder & Chairman
Jet Linx Management Company
| Denny Walker founded Jet Linx Aviation in 1999 as a local fractional jet company serving the Omaha community, providing its clients with a local solution to their private jet travel needs.
Before founding Jet Linx Denny co-founded CardMember Publishing Corporation in 1989, a consumer services direct marketing company. It was ranked as the “Fastest Growing Company in Omaha” by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce in 1994 and was also recognized as #2 on Inc. 500’s America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies. Denny and his co-founder took the company public as MemberWorks Corporation in 1996 (NASDAQ:MBRS). Earlier endeavors include founding Walker Enterprises and being employed by First Data Resources and the IBM Corporation.
Jamie Walker, President
Jet Linx Management Company and Jet Linx Aviation
|Before joining Jet Linx Aviation in 2002 to help develop the company on a national scale, Jamie started his career in New York City in sales and marketing. Jamie is responsible for the business development and strategic vision of Jet Linx, including the launch of its Jet Card, Aircraft Management, and Base Partner programs. Jamie works daily with Jet Linx team members and Base Partners to further develop and enhance the company’s programs, sales and marketing, branding, culture and industry relationships. The combination of these daily efforts contributes to the continued success and growth of Jet Linx on a national scale. Jamie is involved in the Omaha community through the Knights of Aksarben and is a member of YPO.|
Mike Johnson, CAO
|Mike joined Jet Linx as CAO in 2014. The CAO position combines the skillsets of a COO and CFO to effectively grow and harmonize both sides of the organization. Mike has the experience in both positions, most recently serving as the CIO (Chief Integration Officer) and having held COO and CFO positions for United States Infrastructure Corp.
Craig Christianson, CFO
|Craig joined Jet Linx with a wealth of accounting experience. A certified CPA, Craig most recently served as Director of Acquisitions & Integration and Controller for United States Infrastructure Corporation, where he helped grow revenue from $55 million in 2005 to $100 million in 2011, and worked to integrate financial information, processes and more during the company's multiple acquisitions. Craig is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.|
Tom Fredrickson, Vice President of Human Resources
|Tom Fredrickson is a proven leader with a results-driven focus and has developed and implemented policies to service over 4,500 employees. Before joining Jet Linx, Tom had 18 years experience in human resources leadership, including holding senior human resources positions at Universal Lubricants, LLC, United States Infrastructure Corporation/Consolidated Utility Services and Roberts Dairy. Tom works with all Bases and departments at Jet Linx and leads the human resources team in shaping policies, as well as recruiting and retaining industry-best talent.|
Jason Vanis, Vice President of Flight Operations
|Jason has been an actively involved in the aviation industry since 1998. While attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, he started flight training and received his private pilot’s license in 1994. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from UNO, with an emphasis in Aviation Studies, Jason joined a Part 135 Charter operator in Colorado, in a Flight Operations & Customer Service role. Towards the end of 2002, he moved back to his home state of Nebraska and joined Jet Linx Aviation. Jason was responsible for the oversight of the Flight Operations Department, coordinating the scheduling of the aircraft, crew scheduling and, most importantly, first class customer service. At the beginning of 2008, Jason and two others launched Aviation Integration to provide efficiencies and training to the aviation industry.
Jason returned to Jet Linx in 2010 to manage the Scheduling and Dispatch team, as well as oversee the development of process and procedures throughout the organization. In November of 2012, Jason was named VP of Flight Operations to provide leadership to the Operations, Charter, Flight Coordination, Client Services and Maintenance departments.
Jason is a past recipient of the UNO Aviation Institute Distinguished Alumnus Award for his service to the Aviation Institute as an alumnus and for accomplishments in his career endeavors.
Jay Vidlak, Vice President of Base Development
|After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Studies, Jay began his professional career in aviation with Mayo Aviation in Denver, CO. He served as a charter coordinator/flight operations specialist and was promoted to Flight Operations Manager a few months later.
Jay remained with Mayo Aviation until 2002, when he returned to his home state of Nebraska to begin his career with Jet Linx. In 2007, Jay was promoted to Vice President of Flight Coordination, where he was responsible for overseeing the Flight Scheduling and Charter Sales Department, crew scheduling, and the continual growth and development of a nationwide charter and private jet card program.
In early 2012, Jay assumed the role of VP of New Base Development, focusing on the start-up phase of new Jet Linx bases around the country. He now serves as the Vice President of Base Development, working with Base Presidents and Partners to develop, enhance and further manage current Jet Linx locations around the country.
Ray Bennett, Vice President of Sales
|Ray Bennett has over 20 years of experience in the aircraft industry. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration. His extensive sales and industry experience began as the Regional Sales Manager for Allied Signal Aerospace CAS in 1991. Following six years with Allied Signal Aerospace, he moved on to Raytheon Travel Air in 1997. During his tenure as Regional Sales Director, Ray received numerous awards for his sales performance, including the Raytheon Blue Chip award for four consecutive years. Ray has also served as Sales Vice President for NetJets, Inc. as well as Flight Options, LLC. In both roles, he refined sales processes while exceeding targets. Before joining Jet Linx, Ray served as Sales Director for Beechcraft, earning numerous accolades for his sales performance.
Ray is an avid cyclist, and has devoted himself to riding for the Nebraska chapter of Team in Training, raising money for Leukemia & Lymphoma research. He is also a cooking enthusiast and the father of two children. Ray is a licensed pilot in both single and multiengine aircraft and a licensed commercial pilot.
Trey Sutter, Vice President of Business Development
|A graduate of Georgia Tech, Trey is an IFR-rated private pilot and longtime member of the aviation industry. He has over 15 years of experience in aviation sales, including over ten years as a vice president in fractional jet and jet card businesses. Trey’s focus as Vice President of Business Development is adding Base locations and Base Partners to the Jet Linx family.
Trey and his wife, Dotty, live in Nashville.
